Why Texas Success Academy

We are proud to offer families a flexible, accredited online homeschooling option designed to meet

students where they are and help them reach their full potential. Texas Success Academy combines

the freedom of homeschooling with the structure, support, and accountability of an accredited school.

Accreditation

Fully regionally, nationally, and internationally accredited, meaning diplomas and credits are broadly accepted by colleges and employers

It helps students qualify for scholarships, financial aid, NCAA eligibility, and career opportunities

Student Experience

We encourage a stress-reducing, supportive
environment with less pressure than traditional
models

Many families appreciate the school’s
responsive and caring teaching staff.

100% online access 24/7/365, so students can
learn anytime from anywhere

Flexible schedule lets families customize
learning times to fit routines, travel, work, or
extracurriculars.

Students receive one-on-one guidance instead
of trying to navigate lessons on their own.

When a student struggles, they have a trusted
adult to explain concepts in a way they
understand, reducing frustration and anxiety.

Parent Experience

Having a dedicated advisor for parents makes
a meaningful difference in the online
homeschooling experience

Parents appreciate having a point of contact
who understands their child’s progress and
needs

Creates a true partnership between the school and family, giving parents confidence that they are never navigating their child’s education alone.

When questions or concerns come up,
parents can reach out quickly and get
answers, reducing stress and confusion.

January College & Career Highlights

📅 CMBC College Fair — Jan. 31, Cedar Hill, TX

Area high school students and families are invited to this dynamic college fair featuring 50+
colleges and universities. It’s a great chance to connect directly with admissions representatives,
ask questions about academic programs, financial aid, and campus life, and gather tools for
decision-making.

☀️Summer & Enrichment Virtual Fair — Jan. 22 (Virtual)

Students can register for the TeenLife LIVE Summer Opportunities Virtual Fair to learn about summer programs, research experiences, academic workshops, leadership development, and more — ideal for planning meaningful summer engagement.

💰 Scholarships & Financial Aid

January is a big month for scholarship applications! Several national and Texas-based scholarships
have upcoming deadlines (mid-January to end of month), including opportunities ranging from merit
awards to awards for specific interests like leadership or civic engagement. Encourage students to
use trusted scholarship directories and meet these deadlines early

📣 What’s Next for College-Going Senior & Juniors

For our seniors, Regular Decision deadlines peak in January — be sure all applications and essays
are submitted on time. For juniors, now is the time to build college lists, attend informational
programs, and start planning summer experiences that make applications shine.

Words to Inspire

This January, let’s encourage our students to take that important step — whether that’s asking a question at a college fair, submitting a scholarship, or enrolling in a program that stretches their potential.

Warm regards,
Christi Pierce
Director, Texas Success Academy
