Foundation Pathway

Requires 24 credits to meet diploma eligibility requirements.
The Foundation Pathway is for students whose goal is entry into four-year colleges and universities, and will provide a solid foundation for doing so.

Coming In From Another Accredited School?

If you are coming in from another accredited high school, we do accept those incoming credits. Courses taken at other accredited schools will count toward the requirements listed above, even though some courses may have a different name at the sending school.

If that occurs, we will attempt to match them to our requirements, and in the instance that we cannot, they will not count toward our requirements, but may count as elective credit. Your advisor will visit with you about that upon enrollment.

Students coming from states such as California, those credits translate to 1.0 credit here, where they may be calculated differently there. A .5 credit here, is one semester of a successfully completed course elsewhere, whereas two semesters is 1.0 credit.

When can I start my classes & how soon can I graduate?

Students enroll any time during the month. At the time you complete your enrollment, we will place you into an Orientation course where you will learn everything you need to learn about working in our school. We will create your planner for you, and then on the 1st day of the month, you will begin your first class. Each class is two months long, 8 weeks. The second month, you will add your second course, and continue the two-month cycle until you graduate.

If you complete your courses in two months, you will likely graduate within 6 – 13 months. Think about it as earning 1 credit or more each month. Your teachers will guide to help you complete your courses, but most of the work and time on task is up to you. We will provide all the support necessary to help you complete high school, and will help you stay on track toward your high school graduation.
