We understand that our graduates may need to use their academic documents outside of the United States for employment, university admission, immigration, or professional licensing.
For this reason, some graduates may be required to obtain an apostille for their diploma or transcript.
This guide explains what an apostille is and how our process works.
📌 What Is an Apostille?
An apostille is an official government certification that verifies the authenticity of a notarized document so it can be legally recognized in another country.
Apostilles are commonly required for:
- International university admissions
- Employment abroad
- Visa or immigration processing
- Professional licensing outside the U.S.
📝 Our Apostille Process for International Graduates
To ensure clarity and efficiency, please review the steps below:
Step 1: Document Notarization (Handled by Texas Success Academy)
We begin by having your diploma and/or transcript officially notarized at our office. Notarization is required before an apostille can be issued.
Step 2: Student Purchases Apostille Service
The student is responsible for purchasing apostille services independently. You may choose any apostille provider; however, we do have a recommended service available upon request.
Once you have selected and purchased your service, please provide us with the service details and any required order or reference numbers.
Step 3: We Mail the Documents to the Apostille Service
After notarization and confirmation of your purchased service, we will mail the notarized documents directly to the apostille service provider you selected.
From that point forward, the apostille service provider will:
- Submit the documents to the appropriate government office
- Obtain the apostille certification
- Return the completed documents according to your selected delivery method
